The coffee served here has earned its own fanfare. According to Dan Thwaites, the oat flat whites are splendidly crafted and considered the perfect companion to a savory sausage or bacon sandwich. And let’s not forget the tempting array of cakes that are perfect for taking home for a sweet indulgence later. This coffee shop prioritizes quality, making every sip and bite an experience to remember!
Another highlight is their full English breakfast, praised by Leonard Wong, who noted the generous portions and perfect cooking of the bacon. The hash browns and sunny-side-up eggs round out the plate for an authentic, hearty meal. Not only is the food delightful, but the peaceful village setting enhances the overall experience. The beautiful wooden sculpture outside only adds to the quaint charm that Cedar Village embodies.
Pancake lovers also won’t be disappointed, as noted by Jamie Leach. Although the number serving has been reduced, the Nutella and maple syrup pancakes remain a must-try. They offer a sweet twist that dances on your taste buds, making them an enticing option for brunchers.

“ This is a delightful find. Nice food (I am gluten intolerant) and superb service. We sat outside with our dog in the sunshine and had a great lunch. I recommend a visit. ”
“ What a super place. Coffee is splendid. Very well made - our oat flat whites, expertly made and charmingly delivered. Sausage sandwich and bacon sandwiches made the perfect Sunday morning accompaniment. Great value, too. Oh and we picked up a couple of cakes for those at home. They thought them quite delicious. Thank you so much for having us. ”
“ Superb cafe, quality food, very friendly and good value. ”
“ Cedar is a fantastic little coffee shop in a quiet village. I had the full English breakfast—generous portions and everything was delicious. I especially loved the bacon: not too hard or too salty, cooked just right. The hash browns and sunny-side-up eggs were also great. The yogurt and granola bowl was fresh and healthy, with plenty of fruit. There’s also a beautiful wooden sculpture outside that adds to the relaxed, countryside atmosphere. Friendly service too. A perfect place for breakfast or brunch! ”
“ Very tasty pancakes! I live in the area, and regularly come. It seems they have reduced the number of pancakes they serve. I would absolutely recommend getting the Nutella and maple syrup pancakes for brunch!!! ”
“ I 100% recommend going for a nice breakfast especially after a good walk! I went for a for a breakfast around 12, just after a nice long walk through the nearby woods. Its an incredibly cute and well looked after store! I had bacon, pancakes and sausage with a nice glass of orange juice (See photos attached). The staff were kind and brought the food quickly and it tasted great. I am sure many of the locals already know of its existence, if you don't then its worth going for a great breakfast. Although the portions look small it was the perfect size. ”
“ My wife and I went for a lovely morning walk in the area. On our way back to the car we decided to pop into the Cedar Coffee Shop and have some breakfast. We both had a full English breakfast and the food was great. We sat in the lovely garden at the rear of the shop and had a lovely time. The coffee was great too. We also bought some local products form the village store. Will definitely be returning again. ”
“ Found it to be a very nice cafe, inside and outside seating. My Cortado was milkier than expected but would order again. The bacon sarnie was perfect, seeded bread, nice bacon and well cooked, spot-on. ”
